Design Studio FS22 Results: Design for Climate

Have a look at the results of our design studio "Design for Climate," a successful collaboration between our chair and the architecture chairs of Elli Mosayebi and Christoph Gantenbein at ETH Zürich.

The groups demonstrated impressive initiative, focusing on topics that ranged from exploring thermal storage systems and heat-storing materials to examining the integration of photovoltaics and passive cooling. An integral part of the students' learning journey was the application of various simulation tools. For example, they used thermal and #CFD simulations as a key tool to inform their iterative design process.

Along with our teaching team Prof. Dr. Arno Schlueter, Dr. Esther Borkowski and Maximilian Gester, the final reviews were enriched by insightful contributions by Iñaki Abalos. We are grateful to have Franziska Singer and Meng Li on board, who provided their valuable assistance throughout the semester.

Following the success of this semester, we look forward to the return of the #designstudio in the spring semester 2024!
