3for2 - Grand Opening

3for2 Opening

We are pleased to invite you to the Grand Opening of the 3for2@UWCSEA office space - the pilot implementation of the 3for2 building design concept in Singapore on 19 January.
The United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) invited a team of architectural and engineering researchers from ETH Zurich and the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) at the Singapore-ETH Centre to holistically design a 550 sqm area. This new space, which has come to house the administrative offices of the UWCSEA, has also now become the first living laboratory of the ‘3for2’ concept.

We hope that you will be able to join us on 19 January to celebrate this project milestone. Please refer to the programme (PDF, 186 KB) for further details and registration requirements.

Future Cities Laboratory

Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) is a research program at the Singapore-ETH Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability (SEC) established in 2010 by ETH Zurich and Singapore’s National Research Foundation. Involving researchers from various fields and nations, FCL aims to develop the knowledge, technologies, and approaches for a sustainable urban future with an Asian perspective. The A/S Research Team is part of FCL since its beginning. For further information on what our Singapore team is working on, visit FCL 1 and FCL 2 or check out the 3for2 project.
