City Energy Analyst (CEA) Workshop at SBE16 Zurich

The City Energy Analyst (CEA) is a novel computational framework for the analysis of building energy systems at neighbourhood and district scales. The framework which is based on ArcGis serves to define energy efficiency strategies that minimize the energy intensity, carbon footprint and costs of energy services in an urban area. Within the scope of the SBE16 Regional Conference in Zurich, the A/S Research Team offers a 2-day workshop on June 13-14, 2016 presenting and applying the CEA Toolbox. The number of participants is limited so get in early!

For more details please view the workshop information on the SBE conference website and check out the CEA video.

Future Cities Laboratory

Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) is a research program at the Singapore-ETH Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability (SEC) established in 2010 by ETH Zurich and Singapore’s National Research Foundation. Involving researchers from various fields and nations, FCL aims to develop the knowledge, technologies, and approaches for a sustainable urban future with an Asian perspective. The A/S Research Team is part of FCL since its beginning. For further information on what our Singapore team is working on, visit FCL 1 and FCL 2 or check out the 3for2 project.
