Zero Carbon Building Systems Lab: Opening in 2023

Our Chair Architecture and Building Systems A/S at ETH Zürich will open the new Zero Carbon Building Systems (ZCBS) Lab in 2023.  It is a groundbreaking experimental research facility capable to investigate systemic aspects of material, energy and human occupants for the decarbonization of buildings - in full scale. The lab is packed with facilities for conducting experiments such as modular and fully equipped test rooms exposed to artificial and outdoor climates, a large-scale solar simulator as well as outdoor test facilities. The lab is closely linked to other innovative labs linked to the Institute of Technology in Architecture, ETH Zurich such as the Robotic Fabrication Lab or the Immersive Design Lab.

Stay tuned!
